1.Yoga Poses
It’s rainy today!
Let’s walk in the rain!
Let’s be an umbrella!
【Umbrella pose】
1. Stand straight.
2.Make an umbrella panel with your arms above your head.
3.Raise one leg. Balance on the other leg. Switch the legs.
4. Walk with singing ‘Rain rain go away’.
【Song】
Rain rain go away
【Lyrics】
Rain rain go away
come again another day
(Someone) wants to play
Rain rain go away
It’s raining, so let’s put on your rain boots!
【Rain boots pose】
1. Sit with your legs stretched.
2. Raise your hands. Make your back straight.
Look! There is a puddle.
Let’s jump!
【Puddle pose】
1. Lie on your back.
2. Put your legs together. Bend you knees.
3. Open your legs slowly.
Look! The hydrangea is blooming!
Beautiful.
You know, the origin of the word, ‘Hydrangea’ is ‘Water vessel’ in Greek!
Let’s make a water vessel!
【Hydrangea pose】
1. Sit with your legs crossed.
2. Make a flower (water vessel) with your hands.
There is a snail on a leaf of hydrangea!
It’s crawling!
Snails have a spiral shell on their back!
♪ Snail, snail, where is your head?
Put out your horns!
【Snail pose】
1. Kneel down.
2. Put your bottom down on your heels.
3 Bend forward.
4. Make snail’s horns with your hands.
5. Crawl with your knees and elbows.
Do you know ‘Teru Teru Bozu’?
Teru Teru Bozu is a Japanese traditional doll made from tissue paper or cloth.
During the Rainy Season in June, children make Teru Teru Bozu and hang it on the curtain rail of the windows.
We hope the rain stops and sunny days.
【Teru Teru Bozu pose】
1. Kneel down.
2. Raise your hands.
3. Catch your elbows.
Now it’s raining heavily!
The raindrops are large!
Let’s be a raindrop!
【Raindrop pose】
1. Sit with your knees bent.
2. Hug your knees.
3. Squeeze.
It’s thundering now.
Look! The lightning flashed!
【Thunder and Lightning pose】
1. Stand straight.
2. Put your left (right)leg behind widely.
3. Bend your right knee.
4. Raise your hands.

There is thunder, there is thunder
Hear it roar, hear it roar
Pitter patter raindrops × 2
I’m all wet × 2
After the thunderstorm, a rainbow appeared in the sky.
Let’s be a rainbow.
【Rainbow pose】
1. Lie on your back.
2. Bend your knees. Put your feet hip width apart.
3. Lift your bottom.
4. Interlock your fingers under your back.

Look! There are frog eggs in the pond!
Let’s be a frog egg!
【Frog eggs pose】
1. Lie on your back.
2. Bend your knees.
3. Hug your knees.
4. Squeeze.

The frog eggs hatched!
Cute tadpoles were born!
【Tadpole pose】
1. Lie on your stomach.
2. Place your lower arms on the ground.
3. Bend your knees upward. Cross your leg.
4. Lift your bottom slightly if possible.

I’m a Little Tadpole (‘I’m a Little Teapot’ tune)
【Lyrics】
I’m a little tadpole, swimming in the pond.
Waiting to be a frog, just like a mom!
First, I’ll grow back my legs,
then I’ll get my front.
Last my tail will fall off, then I’m ready to jump!
Finally, the tadpole became a frog!
What does the frog say?
Ribbit! Ribbit!
They also say, ‘Croak, croak’. They’re croaking!
Let’s be a frog , and jump!
【Frog pose】
1. Stand with your feet shoulder width apart.
2. Squat deeply.
3. Put your hands on the floor.
4. Jump!
